About us

Hope Foundation Sironcha is a registered society and non-governmental organization (NGO) (Registration No. F-0007339 (Gad)), established on 28 December 2020, working in the field of health and mental health in Sironcha and Chamorshi blocks of Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra. Our organization works primarily with rural, remote, and tribal communities, with a strong focus on improving health awareness, mental health awareness, emotional well-being, and access to community-based support. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live a healthier, safer, and more dignified life. At Hope Foundation Sironcha, our primary focus is on health and mental health, especially among women, adolescents, children, families, and vulnerable communities. We work to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma related to mental illness, strengthen community support systems, and encourage preventive healthcare practices in underserved areas. Along with mental health, the organization also works on general health awareness, health camps, adolescent health, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, tuberculosis support, sickle cell awareness, malaria prevention, and community outreach activities. Through awareness programs, outreach initiatives, and grassroots engagement, we aim to build healthier and mentally stronger communities. Hope Foundation Sironcha has also been recognized as Nikshay Mitra for its contribution to public health support. The organization is also a member of the District Palliative Care Committee, reflecting its commitment to community health and supportive care. It is also a member of the Taluka Malaria Control and Monitoring Committee, Sironcha, reflecting its active involvement in public health, disease prevention, and community well-being. The organization is also supported through the SATHI Fellowship for institutional development, in collaboration with Dignity Academia Foundation, Pune, which helps strengthen its leadership, systems, and community-based work. We are committed to continuing our work in Sironcha, Chamorshi, and other underserved rural and tribal areas, with the vision of creating a society where health, mental health, awareness, dignity, and hope reach every community.

Major areas of our work:

  • Raising Health Awareness and Education to improve community well -being.
  • To create public awareness about mental disorders and reduce stigma, taboo and discriminations
    related to it.

  • To organize mental health camps and treat mentally ill patients.

  • To start counseling centres for various sections of society .

  • To create awareness about mental health and wellbeing in school and college students.

  • To create awareness about rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT)and Cognitive behavior therapy ( CBT )

  •  To start a support group for mentally ill patients and their relatives, care givers.

  • To conduct health check up camps for tribal and rural patients.

  •  To Educate adolescents through “vayat yetana “(वयात येताना) ” activity.

  • To educate about sexual health through “prashna tumche uttar amche “(“प्रश्न तुमचे उत्तर आमचे “)

  • Conduct menstrual hygiene workshops and free sanitary pad distribution for adolescent girls.

  • Working in the field of women and child development.

Future plans and projects :

1) To establish counseling centres at Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai.
2)To establish De-addiction centre, Old age and orphanage home
3)To establish rehabilitation centre for patients with mental health disorders.

To achieve this, we focus on:  Healthcare Awareness – Conducting health education sessions on disease prevention, hygiene, menstruation, nutrition, and general wellness.
✔ Medical Support – Organizing health check-up camps, providing nutritional kits and protein supplements to seriously ill patients, and supporting TB patients through the Nikshay Mitra initiative.
✔ Mental Health Initiatives – Conducting awareness programs, counseling sessions, and emotional support services to reduce stigma and discrimination related to mental illness.
✔ Community Outreach – Collaborating with local leaders and volunteers, distributing sanitary pads to promote menstrual hygiene, and striving to improve healthcare access in tribal and rural areas.
✔ Future Plans – Launching a mobile medical van and establishing a charitable hospital to expand our reach and impact.
